Presence data derived from videos and still images were compared against environmental variables derived from multibeam bathymetry (Slope, Curvature, Aspect and Bathymetric Position Index (BPI)), and backscatter data (principal components: Q1, Q2, and Q3). Results represent a probability of habitat suitability for Sea Scallop on German Bank. Probability of suitability: The probability that a given habitat is suitable for a species based on presence data and underlying environmental variables (i.e. probability of species occurrence). Les données liées à la présence établies à partir des vidéos et des images fixes ont été comparées aux variables environnementales issues de la bathymétrie multifaisceaux (pente, courbure, aspect et Indice de position bathymétrique), et aux données de rétrodiffusion (composantes principales : Q1, Q2, et Q3). Les résultats représentent une probabilité d’habitat propice pour le pétoncle géant sur le banc German. Probabilité d’habitat propice : probabilité qu’un habitat donné convienne à une espèce, d’après les données liées à la présence et les variables environnementales sous-jacentes (c’est-à-dire la probabilité d’occurrence de l’espèce).
