This layer shows ground plots from the PSP and VRI programs. **Vegetation Resource Inventory (VRI):** ground samples primarily used to audit and verify key inventory attributes estimated during photo interpretation. These samples are not protected because they will not be revisited. **Permanent Sample Plots (PSP):** subjectively located fixed-area permanent plots, valued for their long-term re-measurement data to support development of growth-and-yield models in unmanaged stands across a range of stand and ecosystem types. Actual GPS coordinates are provided as protection is necessary. - Active PSPs = plot and buffer are protected from harvesting - Inactive PSPs = not protected from harvesting La Direction de l'analyse et de l'inventaire forestiers (FAIB) est chargée de coordonner et de gérer la collecte et les analyses des données issues de différents programmes d'échantillonnage au sol qui collectent des données sur des parcelles au sol. Cette couche montre les tracés au sol des programmes PSP et VRI. **Inventaire des ressources végétales (VRI) :** échantillons de sol principalement utilisés pour auditer et vérifier les principaux attributs de l'inventaire estimés lors de l'interprétation de photos. Ces échantillons ne sont pas protégés car ils ne seront pas revisités. **Parcelles d'échantillonnage permanentes (PSP) :** placettes permanentes à surface fixe situées subjectivement, évaluées pour leurs données de remesurage à long terme afin de soutenir le développement de modèles de croissance et de rendement dans des peuplements non gérés appartenant à une gamme de types de peuplements et d'écosystèmes.
