It is a prediction of mode of deposition of the soils parent material. The model was run by Ecoprovince and also enforced topographic constraints on some materials. The results of the Ecoprovince models were compiled into a provincial raster layer. La surface de prédiction matricielle des matériaux parents des sols a été créée à l'aide d'un classificateur Random Forest formé à partir de polygones à composant unique issus de projets de cartographie des sols, du terrain et des écosystèmes, et de 18 couches prédictives topographiques dérivées du DEM provincial de 25 m.
