L'étendue de la forêt boréale a été produite à partir de Brandt et al. (2013) et une version modifiée de Goudilin (1987). La forêt aménagée a été définie comme suggéré par l’IPCC (2003) en utilisant les données de FAFS (2009), Gauthier et al. (2014), See et al. (2015) ainsi que les cartes de l’AICC. L’étendue de la forêt aménagée comprend principalement les zones aménagées pour la production de bois, les zones protégées des perturbations à grande échelle ainsi que des zones de conservation formelles. L’étendue de la forêt boréale et celle de la forêt boréale aménagée sont toutes deux disponibles en données matricielles et vectorielles. The extent of boreal forest was produced from Brandt et al. (2013) and a modified version of Goudilin (1987). Managed forest was defined as suggested by IPCC (2003) using data from FAFS (2009), Gauthier et al. (2014), See et al. (2015) and AICC maps. The extent of managed forest mostly includes areas managed for wood production, areas protected from large-scale disturbances as well as formal protected areas.
