They are presented for each month and for the entire year, for six different PV array orientations: a sun-tracking orientation and five fixed South-facing orientations with latitude, vertical (90°), horizontal (0°) and latitude ± 15° tilts. Data can also be obtained directly for individual municipalities from a list of over 3500 municipalities or downloaded for all municipalities at once. These maps and datasets were developed by the Canadian Forest Service (Great Lakes Forestry Centre) in collaboration with the CanmetENERGY Photovoltaic systems group and the Federal Geospatial Platform. Cette application cartographique Web présente des estimés de la quantité d’électricité pouvant être produite par des systèmes photovoltaïques sans batterie, raccordés au réseau (en kWh/kWp) et de l’ensoleillement global quotidien moyen (en MJ/m2 et en kWh/m2) pour tout emplacement au Canada sur un maillage de 60 arc secondes, soit environ 2 km. Les cartes sont disponibles pour chaque mois ainsi que sur une base annuelle, selon six orientations différentes : une orientation qui poursuit le soleil et cinq orientations fixes tournées vers le sud et inclinées à un angle équivalent à la latitude, à ± 15° de la latitude, complètement à la verticale (90°) et à l’horizontale (0°). Les données peuvent également être obtenues directement pour des municipalités individuelles parmi une liste de plus de 3500 municipalités ou téléchargées pour toutes les municipalités à la fois.
