From 2018 to 2020, 14 year-round, acoustic receivers were deployed in Placentia Bay as a part of the Coastal Environmental Baseline Program to form 4 gates: Bar Haven (2 receivers), Centre Channel (1 receiver), Eastern Channel (6 receivers), and Western Channel (5 receivers). Additionally, 162 transmitters were deployed in Atlantic cod in the 3Ps region (2019-2022). Over the deployment period these receivers recorded a total of 2 094 024 detections from 63 unique transmitters including 45 Cod tagged through the Groundfish acoustic telemetry program. Most cod detected were tagged in Placentia Bay (43 fish) and many were detected at multiple receivers or multiple years (37 fish). Passive data collection for this project may extend up to 2030. This record contains the locations of the acoustic receivers in Placentia Bay, NL. Ce projet a été mené à bien par la Section du poisson de fond de la Direction des sciences des Pêches et des Océans (MPO) de la région de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador. De 2018 à 2020, 14 récepteurs acoustiques ont été déployés toute l’année dans la baie Placentia dans le cadre du Programme sur les données environnementales côtières de référence pour former 4 portes : Bar Haven (2 récepteurs), Centre Channel (1 récepteur), Eastern Channel (6 récepteurs) et Western Channel (5 récepteurs). De plus, 162 émetteurs ont été fixés sur des morues de l’Atlantique dans la région 3Ps (2019-2022). Au cours de la période de déploiement, ces récepteurs ont enregistré un total de 2 094 024 détections provenant de 63 émetteurs uniques, dont 45 morues marquées dans le cadre du programme de télémétrie acoustique de poisson-fond. La plupart des morues détectées ont été marquées dans la baie Placentia (43 poissons) et bon nombre de morues ont été détectées par plusieurs récepteurs ou cours de nombreuses années (37 poissons).
