Earth conductivity map for Canada
This product provides the Earth conductivity models for the varying conductivity zones throughout the ten Canadian provinces.
The earth conductivity models are derived from a review of published results from magnetotelluric (MT) surveys.
NRcan has developed a set of over 70 Earth conductivity models for use in calculating the effect of geomagnetic storms on power systems.
