Diapirer under sjøbunn

The map service shows submarine landforms related to landslides on the seabed as well as natural phenomena that can cause instability in the seabed and thus pose a danger to underwater installations and/or exposed coastal areas.

Statement: Dataene som er publisert gjennom denne tjenesten er sammensatt av tolkningsresultater fra forskningsprosjekter og maringeologisk kartlegging i norske hav- og kystområder i målestokk fra 1:10 000 til 1:2 000 000. Dataene digitalisert og tilrettelagt av NGU, men produktet er sammensatt av data og tolkninger fra Norges geologiske undersøkelse (NGU), Kartverket, Sokkeldirektoratet (SODIR), Institutt for Kontinentalsokkelundersøkelser (IKU) samt tidligere tolkninger og vitenskapelige publikasjoner. Skred- og grunn gass data er basert på tolkning av analoge og digitale seismiske data og tolkning av digitale reflektivitetsdata, samt tolkning av bilder og video av havbunnen. Detaljerte vanndypsdata har inngått som støtte i tolkningen.

Dataene er digitalisert, bearbeidet og tilrettelagt vha. ArcGIS verktøy, WMS-tjenesten er bygget på Mapserver7-plattform.
