All processed data from released 2D and 3D seismic surveys is available for free and can be downloaded using the new GEUS Data portal (interactive map). The field data is requested these is available for the copying and handling cost however if the field data is requested with the purpose of making a commercial product an agreement must be made with GEUS. Please note that GEUS has not received field data from all seismic acquisitions.

- Statement
- The Samba database was established in 1988 as cooperation between the DGU (now GEUS) and the Danish Energy Agency (DEA). The oldest well in the database was drilled in 1936. Today the database contains approx. 2000 wells and 1400 seismic 2D and 3D surveys. In 2014-2016 the GEUS web shop Frisbee was introduced, providing easy access to, and download of, the data from all released appraisal and exploration wells and 3D seismic surveys in Denmark. The data was not free but had to be purchased. Data can be purchased by credit card or invoice. The final well report and the deviation data can be downloaded free of charge. In 2016 the 3D seismic data became available in Frisbee, and the acquisition report is available for download free of charge. In 2022 GEUS together with the DEA decided to make the data available for free download using GEUS Data portal at the same time the released 2D seismic data was included in and made available for free download the Data portal.
