[ARCHIVED] This dataset has been archived as it is no longer able to be provided in this manner. For a more current version of this elevation dataset, please refer to https://nsgi.novascotia.ca/datalocator/elevation/ to access the current catalogue of available elevation products. The Nova Scotia Elevation Dataset, consisting of a Digital Elevation Model (DEM) derived from LiDAR data is available for select 1:2000 scale map sheet windows covering the Town of Shelburne. The DEM is a bare earth rasterized elevation model with a one metre cell size. The area collected is a total of six 1:2000 scale map sheet windows for a total coverage of approximately 17 square kilometres.

Digital terrain model (DTMRAW) is an expression of the bare earth orthometric elevation (m). Available here as a DTM raster (GeoTIF) with a 5 m pixel resolution. Download: Here The Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment, Forest Service Branch, has developed a forest resource inventory (FRI) which meets a variety of strategic and operational planning information needs for the boreal plains. Such needs include information on the general land cover, terrain, and growing stock (height, diameter, basal area, timber volume and stem density) within the provincial forest and adjacent forest fringe. This inventory provides spatially explicit information as 10 m or 20 m raster grids and as vectors polygons for relatively homogeneous forest stands or naturally non-forested areas with a 0.5 ha minimum area and a 2.0 ha median area. Digital terrain model (DTMRAW) is an expression of the bare earth orthometric elevation (m). DTMRAW is available here as a color-mapped 16-bit unsigned integer raster grid in GeoTIFF format with a 5 m pixel resolution. An ArcGIS Pro layer file (*.lyrx) is supplied for viewing DTMRAW data in the following 50 m elevation intervals. A 32-bit floating point raster version is available upon request. Domain: [NULL, 200…1500]. The joint Natural Resources Canada/Department of Fisheries and Oceans Marine Spatial Planning Program requires the highest resolution marine based bathymetric elevation data and adjacent land based topographic elevation data that are available. This digital elevation model of Canada's west coast compiles the best data available from multiple government agencies to create a regional model gridded at 10 meter spacing. The transitions between the marine and terrestrial areas are seamless creating a continuous surface of elevations for scientific research and mapping.

The USGS 3D Elevation Program (3DEP) Bare Earth DEM Dynamic service is based on multi-resolution USGS DEM sources and provides dynamic functions for visualization. These functions include: Hillshade, Aspect Map, Hillshade Stretched, Multi-directional Hillshade, Slope Map, Elevation Tinted Hillshade, Contour. In addition the OGC Web Map Service (WMS) and Web Coverage Service (WCS) interfaces are enabled.

The USGS 3D Elevation Program (3DEP) Index service from The National Map shows two general categories of downloadable elevation data: (1) digital elevation model (DEM) datasets at standardized horizontal resolutions, and (2) elevation source data including that used to produce standard DEMs, and additional datasets derived from ifsar in Alaska only. Distributable DEM products include: 2 arc-second (in Alaska only); 1 arc-second; 1/3 arc-second; 1/9 arc-second; 5 meter (in Alaska only); and 1 meter. The 2-, 1-, and 1/3-arc-second products are staged for download in 1x1 degree tiles in ArcGrid, GridFloat, or IMG formats, while 1/9 arc-second products are staged in 15x15 minute tiles in IMG format only. The 5-meter products are staged for download in ArcGrid only as a single mosaicked raster to each project extent. The 1-meter products are staged in 10,000x10,000 meter tiles in IMG format only. Distributable elevation source data include: lidar point clouds (LPC) in LAS format for various parts of the U.S., and ifsar-derived digital surface models (DSM) and orthorectified radar images (ORI) in TIFF format in Alaska only. For additional information on the 3DEP, go to http://nationalmap.gov/3DEP/index.html.
