Major hard rock mining project in Yukon requires a detailed environmental and socio-economic assessment and various regulatory approvals. These approvals include, but are not limited to a Water Licence and a Quartz Mining Licence. A project must go through two distinct stages before mining activity can commence. First, an assessment determines whether significant adverse environmental or socio-economic effects are likely to occur. Second, a regulatory licensing approval process needs to take place. This data represents the location of Quartz Mining Licence in Yukon. Distributed from GeoYukon by the Government of Yukon .
