The purpose of this dataset is to provide structural culvert locations along highways . The definition of a Structural Culvert is a culvert with span of 2 metres or greater. Highway structures include bridges, culverts (greater than or equal to 3m diameter), retaining walls (perpendicular height greater than or equal to 2m), sign bridges, tunnels/snowsheds. Information is recorded in the Bridge Management Information System (BMIS)

This dataset includes all drainage culverts with a n opening diameter of less than 2 metres.
