The Saskatchewan Digital Land Cover raster provides a seamless provincial coverage of the province and was created by combining the Saskatchewan Research Council's Northern Digital Land Cover (NDLC) with the Southern Digital Land Cover (SDLC) - See enclosures for complete metadata on these datasets. With exception to the SDLC's value 2 (i.e. Hay Crops) and value 3 (i.e. Native Dominant Grass Lands), the NDLC takes precedence over the SDLC in areas that the two rasters overlap because the NDLC is more current than the dated SDLC. The SDLC's values 2 and 3 were preserved because these land covers are not specifically represented in the NDLC. For the purpose of this dataset, some of the SDLC and NDLC values were reclassified to new values to reconcile varying definitions (i.e. See the Supplementary Information section below for a complete list of image classes with detailed descriptions). A unique colormap was created for this dataset. It should also be noted that because the NDLC's 30 x 30 meter pixels do not align with the SDLC's 30 x 30 meter pixels, this raster was snapped to the NDLC. Last, as is with the SDLC and the NDLC, the extent of this raster does not extend all of the way to the Saskatchewan boundary, specifically, the Information Services Corporation's SaskGIS Provincial Boundary dataset, in numerous areas along the west, south and southeast borders: There are gaps of up to 500m wide of "no data" between the provincial boundary and the raster along these areas of the Saskatchewan boundary.

Dagsetning myndar. loftmyndasja.gis.is. [Loftmynd]. EN: The Loftmyndasjá is a webviewer with historical aerial imagery from the Natural Science Institute of Iceland's historical imagery archive (https://www.lmi.is/is/landupplysingar/fjarkonnun/loftmyndasafn) . The viewer covers imagery from the past 80 years, and was designed at the Land Survey of Iceland (now Natural Science Institute of Iceland). The imagery found in the Loftmyndasjá has been collected from airplanes, scanned into digital format, and turned into map layers. The web viewer is open and free to all. This oblique aerial imagery covers the shoreline of southeastern Georgian Bay, from approximately Port Severn to a point a few kilometres west of the Simcoe/Grey County line. Taiga Air Services Ltd. acquired the data from November 16 to December 2, 2014. To collect the data, they flew a helicopter 160 metres from shore and 100 metres above the water. Overlapping oblique images are available in the following formats: * TIFF (120 MB) * JPG (3.5 MB) * photo centre point shapefile, which you can use to link to the images from GIS software Imagery is available as one packaged product for the Georgian Bay shoreline. To order the data, follow our ordering instructions, which involve mailing an external hard drive to Land Information Ontario. Imagery will be used to investigate the potential of using oblique imagery to complement existing ortho imagery. This will: * help improve interpretation of shoreline features * updating shoreline mapping The imagery also provides a snapshot in time, capturing the current condition of the southeastern Georgian Bay shoreline. The following partners were involved with the project: * Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry * Ontario Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change * Environment Canada * Severn Sound Environmental Association * Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority * Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority * County of Simcoe
