This Web Map Service (WMS) provides full-disk longwave infrared imagery from the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite (GOES-12) built by NASA and operated by NOAA. Ancillary datasets are also provided for reference. GOES imagery is provided by the NASA GSFC GOES Project Science group (http://goes.gsfc.nasa.gov/). This WMS is supported by the NASA Geosciences Interoperability Office (http://gio.gsfc.nasa.gov/) and the NASA GSFC Software Integration and Visualization Office (http://sivo.gsfc.nasa.gov/) as part of the Modeling, Analysis and Prediction program (MAP05 - http://map05.gsfc.nasa.gov/).
